All skin types vary!
Some don’t even experience redness while others may be slightly red.
This can last between 30 minutes to a couple hours. If you tend to have sensitive skin the redness may linger longer.

Service times vary!
For a time estimate on your particular service(s), reference our booking link.
If you’re a regular, we can usually get you in and out faster than your first time.
For example, first-time Brazilians can take around 30 minutes, When you’re a regular we can wax you in about 15 minutes.
We like to be quick and thorough!
Every body is different, but we’ll do our best to break it down for you!
When you first begin your waxing journey, you may experience growth and random hairs that appear in the 1-2 weeks after your appointment.
Once you have been on a regular waxing schedule for 3-6 months, you’ll experience around 2-3 weeks of smooth skin with 1-2 weeks of those random hairs appearing.
Most bodies are ready to wax again at about 4 weeks for the bikini area, 5 weeks for the back, 3-6 weeks for legs, 2-4 for underarms, 2-5 weeks for facial hair.
Keep in mind that these are general estimations based on our waxing experience.
Your waxing results greatly depend on whether or not you’re picking up that razor in between, following your aftercare, and how long you’ve been waxing!
No, no, and no!
Waxing does not negatively affect hair growth, if anything it works in our favor!
Let’s compare shaving VS waxing: when shaving, your hair is receiving more nutrients over time, which creates more growth and thicker hairs.
When you continue to shave/trim you are allowing those hairs to mature.
When you’re waxing, we’re intervening to remove the anagen growth so they do not reach that mature state!
We use a hard wax that is hypoallergenic, vegan, and cruelty free!
We chose ours because it tends to have less instances of bruising, lifting, redness and sensitivity.
Our wax adheres to the hair as opposed to the skin and is removed in one clean strip. Not all hard waxes are created equally but we put our trust in this one!
Absolutely!
We have clients that have received laser hair removal that see us. Unfortunately laser doesn’t always zap all those stubborn hairs and we’re here for the clean up!
Waxing Red Flag: if you’ve gone somewhere and had to shave when you got home after your wax.
That’s not what we do here! If your hair is long enough we get it all. No need to shave afterward!
We do get a lot of positive feedback from our clients partners. Rumor has it, they like results as well. However, this is not guaranteed.

Your first wax is a little bit sensitive, but keep in mind it gets easier.

As a whole there are only two strips that are spicy, the rest is a piece of cake.

Not following your aftercare do’s and don’ts will lead to these pesky ingrowns we all despise!
Other causes are tight clothes, excessive sweating, dehydration, friction, diet, and bacteria.
When is the last time you replaced your loofah?
Absolutely!
We just ask that you use a menstrual cup or tampon.
We always keep tampons in our restrooms if needed.
The service can be sensitive, but most clients don’t necessarily notice a difference.
If you prefer not to wax on your cycle we recommend booking right after!

Manzilian FAQ’s

We’re here to provide a professional service for all humans.
Our number one male service is the manzilian! We support men disliking body hair too.
No need to trim.
The longer the hair the better the results. Please have at least 3 weeks of hair growth at your wax appointment.
The first wax is always the spiciest!
We promise it does get easier if you maintain a waxing routine.
Hair removal of the front pubic area including the butt strip.
Keep in mind you’re always welcome to leave some hair.

No recording of any kind is allowed in the wax room by clients.
It’s normal for this to potentially happen.
If it does, it’s okay, the service will continue as normal!
An erection does not alter our efficiency. As service providers, we will always maintain a professional setting.
